Fiber Group for Women

Do you love handwork? Would you like to gather once a month to share in FUN and FELLOWSHIP? We've got a place for you! Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery or spinning, or you can take part in our SWEATER PROJECT. Last year, Fiber Group members were lovingly able to donate 37 sweaters to Syracuse's Refugee Center for children coming into our country without warm clothes. (Kudos ladies!) We can supply the yarn and "know how" as there are many great teachers eager to share their skills. Our get-togethers are simply a good time and we hope you will consider becoming a part of this great group of women. (You need not be a member of the church to attend.) Fiber Group meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month from 7 till 9 PM in Crounse Hall at the Reformed Church of Syracuse. Hope to see you soon and bring a friend!

Labyrinth

People of all ages are invited to prayerful walking on our Labyrinth. This Labyrinth, modeled after the Labyrinth at the Cathedral of Chartres in France, calls us into a deeper form of prayer as you walk its path in an atmosphere of peace and worship. The Labyrinth is available at the church usually every 4th Tuesday of the month from 7 until 9 PM.

Summer Day Camp

Day Camp happens every summer in the first week of summer break. School is out and the 4th of July is coming, but there isn't anything to do! Children who are entering Kindergarten in the fall through 8th grade are welcome from 8:30 AM until 4 PM for a full day of "sleep away" camp activities right here at the church. The staff from our denomination's summer camp, Camp Fowler, come to Syracuse and join members of the congregation in a week of fun and learning about the world God has given us. We focus on caring for creation and living together in peace! To obtain registration materials for Day Camp, please call the church office at 479-5472.
