"The Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation is dedicated to educating current and future generations about Gage’s work and its power to drive contemporary social change" (http://www.matildajoslyngage.org, homepage).
The Foundation has its own Web site which includes many resources for learning about Matilda Gage, a woman who was dedicated to women's rights yet deliberately written out of history.
Dr. Sally Roesch Wagner is the leading authority on the life and history of Matilda Joslyn Gage. She is also the founder of the Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation and dedicates her work to educating current and future generations about her incredible lifelong works and of the potential of that work to impact social change.
In the spring 2010 semester of the Digital iCreation course students Michael Andrew, Julian Morrison, and Jerrell Perry explored information needs with the Foundation that related to digital media for the organization's website. It was determined that informational videos to introduce each of the "rooms" on the website would be of the most help in meeting information goals and do-able within one semester. All the videos will be embedded on the actual Foundation's website. The videos are also showcased here on the Digital iCreation site beginning with the introductory video below. This video sets the stage for the other Room videos.
